Robotic Exploration of Planetary Bodies
Issa Nesnas, Dr., JPL,
Robotic missions has extended space exploration to many harsh environments that make manned missions unfeasible. They are also precursors to manned missions, testing the environment at the destinations before we send humans there. However, the conditions at these various destinations also make robotic missions challenging. Issa Nesnas will talk about some of these challenges and the latest robotic technologies developed to overcome them.

This event is organized by the Caltech Rover Team as part of its outreach program for the RASC-AL Exploration Robo-Ops competition.
